Last week, we were delighted to help celebrate the launch of Waters Edge – a brand new housing development buried in the heart of Exmouth.
DCH (Devon and Cornwall Housing) approached us to not only help brand the new development, but create a high-end brochure to promote the highly sought-after homes.
We created a name that encapsulates the beautiful River Exe on which the development sits, before creating a brand identity with an über-modern look and a distinct air of exclusivity. The four housing-types that make up the development (Caravelle, Coracle, Masula and Trimaran) are all named after varieties of boat, further referencing the desirable waterside location.
To really push the boat out (excuse the pun), the finished brochure was printed on a premium uncoated stock with an embossed logo on the cover. Heavy tracing paper was also used for the pages featuring the floorplan details, and overlaid onto the specifics of each house.
Complete Property, the estate agent marketing the development, reported back to us that the new brand and sales brochure were exceptionally well received; as a result, on the day of the launch, two of the first three houses were reserved at their full asking price.
Just a quick note to say a huge THANK YOU for all your help with Waters Edge – the brochure has just landed on my desk and it looks awesome. The mix of papers and finishing is really effective and the roll fold is a great introduction.
