Creating a visionary brand

What will your business look like in 2020?

The year 2020 is a focal date for many enterprises building out their business and technology plans. To further increase their leadership status in virtualisation software, VMware conceived the Visionaries in Mobility (VIM) series of executive events where leading business minds gather to share their vision of the 2020 workplace.

We created a brand representative of their innovative mobile solutions and reflective of the exclusive nature of this event series. This was to be rolled out to three global event venues including Barcelona, London and San Francisco.

We designed the brand mark, which encapsulated the fluidity of the mobile arena with the clever use of negative space and applied a secondary colour palette to distinguish the three global locations.

To attract attendance by thought leaders, we created a campaign microsite where full details including the agenda and compelling messages from key speakers could be easily accessed. To support attendance, we designed print and e-invitations as well as follow up email campaigns.

The creative was also rolled out to all event signage.

VIM Barcelona was a resounding success where attendance targets were not only met, but also exceeded, firmly establishing the VIM brand.
